World's most expensive shopping streets

Streets are not just locations. Sometimes they speak of brand, class and its style. Then it comes as no surprise why many consider the name of a given country a synonym to shopping destination and shopping style. For retailers doing business in these particular places means fame, popularity and brand targeting the rich. Just before the upcoming holidays the online edition of the Forbes magazine offers a truly luxury travel along the most expensive shopping streets.

Gangnam Station is a stop on the Seoul subway, and the area in and around it is one of the downtown's busiest entertainment and office centers. While retail space in South Korea has held up through the last year, according to Cushman & Wakefield, the value of properties in retail districts would receive a huge boost if the country can widen its free-trade agreement with the U.S., which continues to meet political opposition in both countries.
