Carrefour enters the city of Dobrich

The French retailer Carrefour will become the major tenant at the building which is to occupy the site of the former shoe factory in the city of Dobrich. European Trade Center is investing in this scheme a total of 15 million euro. The project will see the reconstruction of former industrial and office buildings and the development of new ones, which will house a shop gallery. The units are made up of 12,861 sq m, of which Carrefour will occupy 6,900 sq m. This project differs from all traditional urban malls where food stores tend to occupy less space. It is expected that the development of the shopping center will finish in Q4 of 2011. The design has been made by Arch Ilian Iliev’s ‘Planing’ architecture bureau. Mr. Iliev has also worked on other ETC projects and has participated in the City Center Sofia mall project. International law company DLA Piper, represented by ‘Rizova and partners’ law firm is legal advisor of Carrefour.
