Mercator enters Bulgaria.

After Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, one of the largest food retailers in the region of Southeast Europe, Slovenian company Mercator is now about to start operations in Bulgaria as well. Its first location will be in the Mega Mall shopping center, which is currently under construction in Sofia’s Lyulin neighborhood. Mercator has more than 1,500 shops throughout Southeast Europe. It targets larger cities in Bulgaria where is plans to open supermarkets in the next two years.
