Plans for skyscrapers seen in nine locations in Sofia.

There are projects for high-rise towers in 9 locations in Sofia at different development stages - proposals, detailed planning and concepts, said the city's Chief Architect Petar Dikov at a discussion dedicated to high-rise buildings, organized by the Union of Architects in Bulgaria. Mr. Dikov assumes that one or two skyscrapers are likely to be developed in the capital. A town-planning scheme for high buildings that is expected to be drawn up and applied to Sofia’s master plan will show the potential areas suitable for such development.
