European bank lends EUR 43 million for the construction of a shopping mall in Stara Zagora.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development supported one of several projects for shopping centers in the town. Galleria Mall of Poland-based company Globe Trade Centre has received a loan from the EBRD  syndicated with Bank Austria, which is part of the Unicredit Group. The loan expires in twelve years. EBRD supports emerging markets that other financial institutions are not prone to finance. The real estate sector in the region has received loans and direct real estate investment of EUR 1.7 billion in total from the Bank.
