Houses made of Canadian cedar instead of tiles and cement

are offered by American company Lindal Cedar Homes and its Bulgarian partner Кедрови къщи България. They have presented the model of the building to be developed by the Durankulashko Lake. Кедрови къщи България will develop 5 houses in total that will probably cost EUR 5 million. The investors hope that they will be able to sell this project not only as sea and mountain holiday homes but as urban residences too. The Canadian Red cedar, which grows along the Pacific coasts of the USA and Canada, boasts excellent heat-insulation properties.
