A 19th-century building has been reconstructed

 in the center of Sofia. It is located on the corner of Gurko St and Shesti septemvri St and is one of the first public buildings built after the liberation of Bulgaria. Constructed and reconstructed several times between 1895 and 1958, the building is now an architectural, artistic, historical and cultural monument. It also used to house the Bulgarian State Agency for Metrology and Technical Surveillance.
