Lincoln’s reelection speech at Christie’s auction

On February 12, the bicentennial of the birth of Abraham Lincoln, Christie’s will offer the former president’s four-page speech for sale. The speech was delivered to the White House on November 10, 1864, after Lincoln’s reelection to a second term for president. The unique document has never been offered for sale before and now experts expect it to bring $ 3 million (€2,211,400).
